Term 1 so far...

"We are learning to count sets of items. This will help with our times tables."
"We found the cubes an easy way of making sums for our partner and finding the answers!"

P3a have been working very hard this term!

We have all settled in to our new class and for some a new school, very well.

During our first week we worked in groups to come up with group names. We decided on 'Toy Story' and were given Slinky the Dog, Buzz, Jessie and Woody for each group to choose from. We worked on a group challenge and created posters to represent our table.

We have also been doing lots of active maths tasks, working with partners, independently and in groups.

The circles are working on adding with carrying.

The squares are working hard at the 2, 3, 5 and 10 timestables.
Have a look at the following site to practise timestable maths games! http://www.echalk.co.uk/tasters/taster3/taster.htm

Mrs Brodie and Miss Fulton think we have all been working very hard!

We need to keep this up!
