Trip to Vikings! Exhibition


We travelled to the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh to see the Vikings Exhibition.  We went to Viking school with Sven and Ulrika Redhead  We all got Viking helmets and were given Viking names.  We were taught how to write in runes and when we went back to school we wrote  a message for our parents in runes for our Viking Open  Evening.   Our parents replied saying things like 'Well done' and 'Loved it' 'Superdooper' 'Spectacular' and 'Epic'!.  The following week we had a Glow Meet with some historians from the National Museum of Scotland where they showed us some artefacts like Viking keys, a Viking game and a Viking comb.  It was very interesting to see how the Vikings lived nearly 1200 years ago.
