Term 1 in P3

We have had a fun filled and busy first term.  Miss Breslin has been really pleased with how well we have settled into a new primary and in a bigger class.  We have been making new friends and are enjoying playing with them in the big playground.  We are enjoying playing football and basketball in the big playground.

It's not all playing - we have also been learning lots.  We learned about energy and forces in Science, and had lots of fun making our own magnets and experimenting with magnets and force.  In RME we learned about the 5th Pillar of Islam - the hajj and why it is so important to Muslims.  We are currently learning about Houses and Homes in this country and will be comparing them to houses in Malawi, Africa.

We have just started learning our songs for our P3 assembly which we will be doing in Term 2.  We can't wait.  Miss Breslin thinks we are all stars because we have been trying so hard to learn some tricky words.

We are looking forward to our end of term reward - an afternoon of Golden Time!  What fun!  Miss Breslin thinks we have all worked so hard this term and that we all deserve to have fun!
