September and October! 

We have had an excellent first term in Primary 2b. The children have had fun during science experiments as part of our George's Marvellous Medicine topic. We looked at dissolving and the children enjoyed taking turns to find out how many of our ingredients would dissolve. The children also created 2b's potion, we measured out liquids and solids and discussed which ingredients dissolved, we all got very messy but it was a fun afternoon! Inspired by this the children wrote stories about how they could turn their teacher into a toad, hopefully this won't become a reality! 

The children have also improved their mental maths skills and have enjoyed playing mental maths games and finding our "Maths champion" for the week! 

Due to the weather we have unfortunately not been able to partake in as much outdoor learning  this term as planned. However, the children have enjoyed working in teams with the Room 5 and can look forward to participating in Orienteering next term!
